1. About these terms

These terms apply to all purchases from wattwheels.com.au. By placing an order you agree to them. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

2. Orders and pricing

All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. We may decline or cancel an order (with a full refund) if a product is unavailable or a pricing error has occurred.

Trikes are shipped to Australia on order, so delivery times are estimates.

3. Delivery

We deliver Australia-wide. Risk passes to you on delivery. Please inspect your order on arrival and tell us about any transit damage within 48 hours, with photos.

4. Change of mind

Please choose carefully. We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind, including where a trike turns out not to suit your riding, terrain or paths. Please read our buying guide and contact us before ordering if you're unsure.

This does not affect your rights if the product is faulty or does not meet the consumer guarantees.

5. Faults and your consumer guarantee rights

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

If you have a problem, contact us first. For a minor fault, Wattwheels will be given the opportunity to fix it by repair or replacement within a reasonable time.

6. Warranty against defects

In addition to your rights under the ACL, Wattwheels provides a warranty against manufacturing defects. Under this warranty Wattwheels will supply replacement parts free of charge. Warranty periods: frame 3 years; motor and battery 24 months; all other components 12 months, from the date of delivery.

To claim, contact us at sales@wattwheels.co.nz with your order number, a description and photos.

This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear (tyres, tubes, brake pads, chains), damage from accidents, misuse, modification or lack of maintenance.

The benefits of this warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies you have under the law in relation to the goods.

7. Use and safety

Riders must follow the road rules in their state, including wearing an approved helmet. Have your trike serviced regularly.

8. Privacy

We collect your details only to process orders and respond to enquiries, and we don't sell your information.
